THE QUILT SHOW with Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson
I was invited to tape shows on both my vessels and my pop ups!  It was great fun, and Alex and Ricky made it all so easy.  The shows aired on 17 July 2022 (series #3102)  The pop up is a replica of the studio set for The Quilt Show, my thank you card to the whole crew.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments about the show and my book!

Just for Giggles...

I've been playing with EVA foam and made a Blue Dragon.  It's a chair back cover for my son-in-law's Dungeon and Dragon game room.  The eyes have LED lights and the wings are movable.  Stay tuned for more fantastic creatures and adventures with EVA!

"Living" Wall

3 Dimensional Fiber Art

I've always wanted to have a real living wall of plants in my house.  However the poor lighting and lack of water source meant it would not work.   After creating my Bonsai series, I realized I could sew a "living" wall of fabric plants.  They don't require good light, water or soil -- and they won't die!

This piece has lead me to a new path of sewing plants.  I am now working on a new book "Fabric and Form: How to Sew an Indoor Garden"   on schedule for late 2023.  It will teach how to sew, quilt, crochet, knit, and embroider house plants, flower boxes, living wall panels, and even a Fairy Garden!  Stay tuned...

Aspen Bonsai

My latest series is fabric bonsai art.  I can't grow'em but I can sew'em!  I've been learning the art of bonsai and then translating it to fabric forms.  The Aspen Bonsai will be one of my works in the Faces of Fiber in the Rockies exhibit  10 June through 16 July 2022 at the Art Center of Estes Park, Estes Park Colorado

Shards II

This is an update of my very first vessel, Shards: Self Portrait as Pottery, made in 2010.  Shards II showcases a lot that I have learned in making many vessels since then.  It will also be in the Faces of Fiber in the Rockies exhibit.
